Zoo La La 2014
Zoo-La-La is back for another year! It’s an event that combines models parading the latest must-have clothes from local stores and boutiques along with encounters with some of the animals from the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo. Add the music, food and fun and it will be a night everyone will be talking about as we support the non-profit preserve and zoo located on U.S. 15 near Thurmont.
Last year, Zoo-La-La raised $7,000 for the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo, which paid for extra power generators and propane fuel that kept the zoo’s delicate creatures warm and protected them during this past winter. This year, we hope to double that success and help expand zoo displays, creating an even better home for the animals at the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo but we can’t do it without your support.
Zoo-La-La will be held 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at The Faux School in downtown Frederick. Plus, there will be a meet and greet with some of the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo animals from 6 to 7 p.m. – perfect for families!
For the party animals, there will be a DJ, beer, wine and a signature Zoo-La-La cocktail, with a raffle of various prizes ranging from NYC Fashion Week experience, Kenya Bush Safari and even a Bloomingdales $1,000 shopping spree with a personal shopper. You know the food will be excellent when it’s from Juliet’s Italian Market and Cafe.
Join us and support your local zoo.
