The next "Rumble in the Jungle" is
September 13, 2008!

Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo has planned quite an adventure for your family.

Scheduled delights include:

• Live interactive entertainment,
• Games and activities for the children,
• A guided twilight tour of the zoo, and
• A campfire wrap-up. (When was the last time you roasted marshmallows?)

Your registration includes:

• Your  zoo admission,
• Picnic style dinner (usually fried chicken, hot dogs, chips, salads, beverages),
• All of the evening's programs and tour
• Continental breakfast: juices, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, pastries and cereal.

Check-in begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with activities beginning at 6 p.m. You must check in by 6:15. Plan to stay until about 9 a.m. on Sunday.

You'll need a tent, sleeping gear, sweatshirt or light jacket, flashlight, insect repellant, and personal hygiene items. A refillable plastic drink bottle is also a good idea. That's it! We take care of the rest.

Other Notes:

• Cost is $65 per person for current members, $100 per person for non-members.
• Participants must be ages 5 and up, with appropriate adult supervision required at all times
• Tickets will be limited to 100 participants.
• Reservations must be accompanied by full payment.
• Confirmation notices will be mailed or emailed to you. 
• This is a rain or shine event.
