Animal Behavior and Conservation Society is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the meerkats of Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo, Saturday, May 19th at the Mt Airy Volunteer Fire Department Activities Building.

Fresh from Graceland and preparing for his first performance is Morty Meerkat, Maryland’s newest Elvis tribute artist and only known performing meerkat!  Morty’s debut will be at “An Evening with The King,” at the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Department’s Activities Building, May 19 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.  This fundraiser, hosted by Animal Behavior & Conservation Society (ABCs), features four award-winning Elvis tribute artists, cash bar, food and a multitude of basket and item raffles.

This will be the inaugural fundraising event for ABCs, whose first project is to assist in the expansion and the renovation of the meerkat enclosure at Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo.

Doors open at 6:00pm.  Morty and his fellow tribute artists will take the stage at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $15 and available online at www.abcszoofriends.org.
